Coronavirus Outbreak Laboratory Research Stock Photo

Over the past months, information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) has been coming at breakneck speed, changing by the hour. It can be difficult to keep up with all the information that's out there. To help make things easier and keep members safe and informed, we've compiled any news, information, resources, or guidelines relating to the coronavirus pandemic here in one place.

The staff and leadership at MAAR are closely monitoring the situation in the Memphis area and beyond. Please bear in mind that information will continue to change, which may cause some of the items compiled here to become outdated. As such, this resource will continue to be updated as needed.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions of additional inclusions on this page, contact Katie Shotts or Kira McNeil.

Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®

As you may recall, the MAAR office began welcoming members back into the building on Dec. 14. Shortly after, as a result of Shelby County Health Order and Directive No. 16 and Tennessee Executive Order No. 70, as well as a member of staff testing positive for COVID-19, we were forced to discontinue access to members once again.

On Jan. 25, with the expiration of Health Order and Directive No. 16, the MAAR office reopened to members during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. To ensure the safety of our members and staff alike, the previous health restrictions will continue to apply. Curbside ordering will remain available for members' convenience. Read more.

Additionally, the open house field has been re-enabled in Paragon, allowing members to add and modify open houses with both in-person and livestream options. Read more.

In April, the Residential Forms Committee approved an additional form, the COVID-19 Release Form (RF 309), which educates the consumer on the potential risks of viewing properties in the midst of the pandemic and to protect REALTORS® from liability and/or indemnification. This form can be accessed via Forms on the Fly.
